ABOUT US

Vox Pura Singers (meaning "pure voice" in Latin) began in 2018 when a group of talented musicians with a passion for early music came together with the aim of singing one voice per part sacred and secular Renaissance polyphony in a concert setting.

The primary aim of the choir is to create an intimate, pure sound, with each voice blending perfectly with the others. This approach to singing perfectly complements the beautiful church music of the Renaissance era, and it truly is a case of the whole being greater than the sum of the parts,

The single candle flame reflects the purity of sound achieved by the choir when singing this most beautiful repertoire.
